Your right to be removed

You can ask us to delete your account data, uploaded photos, and any personal information we hold about you. This is free and you do not need to give a reason. We honour valid requests within 30 days under GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent laws.

How to submit a request

  1. Email privacy@peoplefinder.app from the address tied to your account (or include enough information for us to verify your identity).
  2. In the subject line, write: Data Removal Request.
  3. In the body, tell us which data you want removed: your account, specific uploaded photos, or all personal information.
  4. We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the removal within 30 days, then send a final confirmation.

What we remove

  • Account record, search history, and stored search parameters.
  • Any uploaded photos still in cache (uploaded photos are automatically deleted within 24 hours of search; this is a backstop).
  • Cross-references with third-party processors are revoked.

What we may keep

We retain the minimum data required to prove the deletion happened (request timestamp, hashed identifier) plus records needed for tax, billing, or legal compliance. None of it identifies you.
